I'm not so sure if this outburst was simply the result of a republican disagreeing with a democrat's agenda. Case in point: It's never happened before. Was it racist? I don't know. But it was definitely very disrespectful, that's for sure.

I like Jimmy Carter too. I find him funny by merely seeing his face on his movies. He has really the character of a comedian. I heard that Jimmy Carter has a serious personality when he is not acting. Therefore, he is really talented because even though he is a serious person yet he can still portray comedian roles easily. I like the way he acts because it really natural.

Jimmy Carter was the first American president to bring peace in the Middle East. He won the nobel peace prize for his international peace efforts.
When Jimmy Carter Says something everyone should listen. He is a wise political man, he should be elected as the scretary general of the UN.

I think part of my problem is, I don't see the race issue in my every day life. At my job, everyone is created equally and we have all races in all positions. And at school, the same thing. Everyone is treated the same way. It doesn't mean that I don't acknowledge that there are race issues out there, but I just don't see them. I think that makes my opinion of what he's been saying a little bit harsher than if I were experiencing the race problem first hand. Just my opinion though.

Yeah, I'd agree with you here as well. I gotta believe that the majority of people would just assume move past the whole racist argument and get to more important things. I'm not saying that racism doesn't exist and/or isn't important, but, going to it as a reason for why things happen the way they do seems a bit outdated now.

I agree completely. I love Carter. I think he's very wise, and having lived in the south, he probably knows race issues first-hand. However, jumping to that conclusion seems rash without evidence to back it up. And, if not proven, can do more harm than good. I'm not saying race issue don't still exist. But there are a lot of other long-standing predispositions in play here than solely the race card.
